Four-midable Humphreys leads the way

BRADLEY Humphreys struck four times as Chadderton FC Juniors under-12s put nine past Broadway Celtic without reply.
Aaron Holton (two), Wes Williams, Matthew Goulding and Paul Mullen made up the tally.
Humphreys helped himself to another two goals — James Tulley (two), Will Shoel and Holton were also on the mark — in a 6-3 defeat of Springhead.
TWO goals each from Connor Buckley, Lewis Henderson and Thomas Maloney inspired Chaddy End FC under-12s to an 8-3 success over Crompton Villa. Sam Haran and Charlie Burton also struck.
The under-14s, with Matthew Green (two) and Joe Mallia on the scoresheet, were 3-2 winners over Chadderton FC Juniors.
Green also scored in a 6-3 defeat of Middleton Colts. Callum Maznyczenko (two), Josh Brown (two) and Matthew Barlow bagged the others.
And to complete a fine day’s work for the Chaddy End club, the under-15s overcame Springhead 3-0. Chase Harrison (two) and Curtis Ingham hit the target.
HEYSIDE Juniors under-15s got their season off to a winning start with a 5-2 midweek victory Oldham Town, newcomers to the Rochdale and Oldham Youth League this season.
A strikeforce partnership of summer signings Matthew Dell and Joe Burlison celebrated their debuts in style, with Dell netting a classy hat-trick and Burlison boosting his confidence with the other two.
The visitors led 1-0 and went into half-time at 2-2, but found the home side too strong after the break.
Luke Graham and Jordon Cooper scored for the under-14s, who beat Copper Pot 2-0.
A HAT-TRICK from Josh O’Donnell, plus Ethan Lord and Danny Horton efforts, clinched a 5-5 draw for Chadderton Park under-12s against Broadway Celtic.
GOALS from Jordan Palmer and Simon Berry put Santos AFC Youth under-15s 2-1 ahead against Myerscough College, but they eventually went down 7-2.
FAILSWORTH Dynamos under-15s, with goals from Josh Flitcroft (three), James Richards and Calogero Salvaggio, registered a 5-2 win over Rochdale St Clements.
