OLDHAM Schools under-15s were held to a thrilling 4-4 draw by Bury in their opening Greater Manchester Schools’ League game of the season.
Two goals from Jamie Saunders (Blue Coat), plus other efforts from Reece Byrt (Failsworth) and DeVaughan Bridge (Blue Coat), earned the town team, who visit Stockport on Saturday (kick-off 10.30am), a share of the spoils.
The under-14s are also in action this weekend against Stockport in their first Greater Manchester Schools’ League fixture of the season (10.30 am).
