County Cup
HEYSIDE Juniors under-14s struck double figures in the County Cup.
Joshua Marsden’s four-goal salvo was the highlight, with Elliott Wild (two), Ross Brown (two), Ben Chrimes and Dale Roberts got the other goals in the 10-0 defeat of Manchester Maccabi.
CHADDY End FC under-12s brushed aside Broadheath Central 10-1, with Sam Haran (three), Callum Buckley (two), Thomas Maloney (two), Ryan Mason (two) and Charlie Burton on the scoresheet.
But the under-15s lost 5-1 to Dukinfield Youth. Callum Maznyczenko replied.
SCOTT ROBINSON struck four goals and James McDermott got the other as Oldham Boys under-14s secured a 5-3 success over Sale United.
TWO goals apiece from Harrison Grant and Aaron Holton helped Chadderton FC Juniors under-12s to a 7-0 win over Failsworth Town. Bradley Humphreys, James Tulley and Reece Mellor made up the tally.

Tameside and District Junior League
TOM WARING and Aaron Rogers hit hat-tricks as 3D Dynamos under-11s ‘M’ swept aside Hollingworth Villa 14-0 in the Tameside and District Junior League.
Also on the mark were Sean Murray (two), Harry Wardle (two), Will Cotton, Jack Hirst, Ellis Forshaw and Remi Morris.
Ben Ford got both goals for under-11s ‘T’ in a 2-0 win over Fletcher Moss Rangers in the League Cup.
But the under-16s went down 4-1 to Barr Hill. Joe Rowland scored the consolation goal.
GOALS from Niall Swanick, Andy Kremner and Michael Tierney were in vain as Moorside Juniors under 16s lost 4-2 at home to Ashton United.
DESPITE goals from Lewis Graham and Connor Watson, Failsworth West under-11 were beaten 4-2 by Boundary Park Juniors, for whom Isaac King, Jack Etchells, Keenan Roddy-Webb and Nathan Smith.
JORDAN Slattery (two), Jordan McLoughlin and Elliott Malham were on the mark for Heyside Juniors under-11s, but their efforts were in vain as they lost 6-4 to Ashton United.
But JFC under-11s are through to the second round of the League Cup after a thrilling 4-3 win over Chadderton FC Juniors. Callum Viner, Jacob Foley, Alex Bescoby and Jack Benson were Heyside’s scorers.
CHADDERTON FC Juniors under-15s continued their unbeaten start to the season with a resounding 6-0 win at home to Denton Youth.
Mike Taylor led the way with four goals, while there was one apiece from Nathan Mayall and Tom Shaw.
GOALS from Aaron Davis, Cameron Thorpe, Heyden Clarke and Chris May were to no avail as Heyside Juniors under-12s lost 7-4 to 3D Dynamos.
OLDHAM Boys under-13s, with Sam Cunliffe getting the goal, picked up a point in a 1-1 draw at Denton Youth.
AFC OLDHAM under-12s, thanks to efforts from Billy Joe Hardman, Jake Hoyle and Curtis Norris (two), defeated Denton Youth 4-1, but the under-16s lost 1-0 to Glossop North End.
Tameside Sunday League
CHADDY End FC under-14s made smooth progress into the next round of the Tameside Sunday League Cup thanks to a 4-1 win at Denton Youth.
Coby Tyrrell notched a hat-trick and Matthew Crothers got the other.
BOUNDARY Park Juniors under-12s ‘A’ had Brendan Moores (two), Oliver Hunt and Elliot Moss on the mark in a 4-0 defeat of Moston Valley but the under-15s, despite goals from Andy Winterbottom, Alex Riley and
Joe Freeman, were beaten 6-3 by Hyde Villa.
A DEBUT goal from Blane Biggs and a Ben Turner effort earned Moorside
Juniors under-13s a 2-2 draw against Heyside Juniors.

ALEX MILOVANOVIC struck four times as 3D Dynamos under-12s triumphed 6-1 over Longcroft Lions in the Huddersfield and District Junior League.
Josh Barlow and Michael Kay got the other goals.
But the under-15s, despite efforts from Andy Marsden (two) and Elliot Fielding, lost 6-3 at Gomersal and Cleckheaton.

Last-gasp heartache
Schools Soccer
A LATE goal denied Oldham Schools under-14s victory in their Greater Manchester Schools League match against Manchester.
The town team went close early on — Saddleworth’s Joe Cooper struck the crossbar — and they continued to dominate before going ahead through a superb 18-yard strike from Devaughn Bridge, of Blue Coat.
Oldham made most of the running in the second period, but their hopes of recording a first win of the season were dashed when Manchester equalised with four minutes to go.
They will hope to go one when they visit Wigan on Saturday (kick-off 10.30am).
The under-15s went down 3-1 to Manchester at The Lancaster Club.
Two goals adrift at the break, they were back in the game just after the hour mark when Jamie Saunders (Blue Coat) scored from close range.
But Manchester put the game beyond Oldham with a third 10 minutes from time.
The under-15s welcome Wigan to The Lancaster Club on Saturday (kick-off 10.30am).
Rochdale and Oldham Youth League
Quickfire Lent lifts Springhead
A FIRST-HALF hat-trick from Jack Lent inspired Springhead under-12s to a 4-0 success over Broadway Celtic in the Rochdale and Oldham Youth League.
Dominic Shaw got the other goal with virtually the last kick of the game.
The under-13s took an early lead against Chadderton FC Juniors — Kaimmen Morris was on the mark — before captain Josh Jones added a second with a cute lob.
A mix-up in defence allowed Chadderton to pull one back, but further goals from Connor Gooseman and Jones (penalty) sealed a 4-1 success.
LUKE Jones went nap as Chadderton Park Eagles under-11s maintained their unbeaten record with an emphatic 13-0 win over Soccer Village.
A Todd, M McDermott (two), O Radcliffe 1, R McConkie (two), J Briers, J Hancock helped themselves to the other goals.
HEYSIDE under-15s swept aside Santos 6-0, with Jack Hilton (two), Joe Burlison, Jack Avery, Matthew Robinson and Daniel Robertson on the scoresheet.
North Bury Junior League
Hoppers in red-hot form
CHADDY Hoppers under-12s Red are riding high in the North Bury Junior League.
They reached the top of the table with a 5-2 win over Little Lever Tigers, with Josh Riley (two), Josh O’Donnell (two) and Dan Javed getting the goals.
But under-12s Blue paid the penalty for wasting several chances as they went down 4-1 to Radcliffe Borough ‘A’. Dan Ratcliff scored the consolation.
Under-11s Blue maintained their unbeaten record with a 6-2 win over Bridge Colts ‘B’.
Harry Gratton Smith, with four goals, and a brace from Georgie Belcher did the damage.
And under-13s Red boast a four-point lead after they came from behind to defeat Marauders Manta 5-4.
A double from Martin Kenny took his tally to 10 in three games, Blane Biggs also got two and Sean Gleeson the other as Hoppers recovered from 3-2 down at half-time.

Hardicre’s hat-trick highlight
A SUPERB display from R.O.C.S. FC under-16s clinched a 6-2 win over Heyside Angels in the Oldham Girls League.
Faye Hardicre led the way with a hat-trick, Sarah Ryan scored twice and Brittany Birtles got the other.
Megan Jackson scored six times for the under-14s in a 21-0 defeat of Uppermill Rockettes.
Amy Jones (five), Lauren Steel (three), Georgia Nutter (two), Danielle Pickett (two), Jessica Tonge, Courtney Hunter and Georgia Flynn got the other goals.
ELLEN Bergin bagged a last-gasp winner as Uppermill Rockettes under-13s edged out Heyside Inter in a seven-goal thriller.
Leading 2-0 after just five minutes — Jay Butler-Jones scored both times — they then found themselves 3-2 adrift after Heyside hit back through Leoni Harland, Paige Rowland and Alix Sephon.
But Kiera Royales’ strike from half-way levelled things up, before Bergin clinched victory.
After conceding two early goals, Rockettes under-12s went on to dominate Heyside Angels.
But the damage had been done and they were punished on the break as Angels completed a 4-0 win. Natalie Giblin (two), Bryony Bolton and Kate Moran scored for Heyside.
The under-11s were beaten 3-0 by Heyside Inter, for whom Caitlin Senior, Hannah Smedley and Jade Hughes got the goals.
THERE were mixed fortunes for Oldham Athletic Girls.
The under-11s and under-12s were beaten 5-0 and 8-5 by Curzon Ashton respectively, while the under-14s succumbed 9-1 to Heyside Angels, for whom Elysia Broome (three), Katie Jones, Rheema Mears (two), Abbie Andrews (two) and Jessica Cooke grabbed the goals.
But the under-16s recorded an 8-0 win over Uppermill Rockettes ‘B’, who hit the woodwork on three occasions.
KELLY Ward weighed in with both goals as Heyside Angels Clarets under-13s edged out Rochdale FC 2-1.
Under-11s Clarets, with Alicia Stretton (two) and Ellie Deakin on target, posted a 3-1 win over Harpuhey United, but the under-16s Clarets were edged out 4-3 by Droylsden.
Blossom Halkyard and Lucy Shaylor and an own goal made up Heyside’s tally.
