NEVER-SAY-DIE Chadderton FC Juniors under-15s scored twice in the last five minutes to preserve their unbeaten record in the Tameside and District Junior League.
Zamir Usmaan grabbed two late goals to earn a 4-4 draw against title rivals Brendon Bees and stay three points clear at the top of the table.
Chadds were leading 2-0 thanks to a Mike Taylor double, but Bees were level at the interval before going ahead in the second half.
However, Usmaan’s heroics yielded his side a share of the spoils.
HEYSIDE Juniors under-11s were beaten 7-3 by 3D Dynamos ‘M’ — Joe Connolly (two), Ellis Forshaw, Aaron Rogers, Sean Murray, Tom Waring and Sean Bergin scored for 3D — and, despite goals from Matthew Walls, Aidan Pass and James Ford, Heyside JFC lost 4-3 at Dukinfield Youth.
TOM Jowle, Tom Ireson and William Wilson weighed in with two goals apiece as 3D Dynamos under-11s ‘T’ brushed aside Chadderton Juniors 6-1, but efforts from Luke Molloy (two), Callum Wetton and Matt Hewitt were in vain as under-12s ‘T’ were beaten 8-4 by Moston Brook.
LUCAS Foster-Jones scored the consolation goal as Heyside Juniors under-12s went down 4-1 to Wythenshawe Town.
