COUNTHILL School were crowned Oldham Schools senior basketball champions after boasting a 100-per-cent record in the tournament held at Kaskenmoor School.
They defeated Crompton House 10-4 in the final after overcoming Saddleworth 16-12 in the last four.
The successful Counthill squad were Shomari Simmonds, Kion Price, James Harvey, Mitchell Oakley, Luke Rigby, Niall Dunnington and Charlie Jones.
Teacher Ian Pickles said: “It was a fantastic achievement by all the pupils involved.
“The man of the tournament was James Harvey, who was the team’s leading points scorer.”
