Season set for lift-off

TEN teams will do battle in the Oldham Cricket Development Group under-11s Indoor League, which gets under way on Friday.
The teams have been split into two pools of five, with the winners meeting to determine the overall champions.
Pool ‘A’ is based at Oldham Sports Centre, and consists of Glodwick, Austerlands, Moorside, Royton and Shaw.
Saddleworth, Heyside, Delph, Uppermill and Woodhouses make up pool ‘B’, and they will play their games at the Millennium Centre.
The league is again sponsored by North Ainley Solicitors.
Fixtures are —
Pool ‘A’: Austerlands v Moorside (7pm); Royton v Shaw (8pm).
Pool ‘B’: Heyside v Delph (7pm); Uppermill v Woodhouses (8pm).
