Red alert as Hoppers hit seven

CHADDY Hoppers under-12s Red came out on top in a North Bury Junior League goal-fest.
Thanks to Dan Javed’s five goals and a double from Josh O’Donnell, they defeated Brandlesholme Warriors 7-4.
Under-13s Red, the leaders, recorded an emphatic 5-0 win over top-of-the-table rivals Elton and Walshaw, who were suffering only their second defeat of the season.
Stephen Wharmby set the ball rolling, before Martin Kenny doubled their lead before the break.
Josh Higgins and Blaine Biggs took the tally up to four, leaving Kenny to wrap things up with number five.
