Under 11s beat Darwin

ROYTON’S successful under-11s cricket team defeated Darwen by 20 runs in their first match in the Lancashire eight-a-side pairs event at The Paddock.
Royton made 221 for seven before restricting Darwen to 201 for nine.
Aaron Tesz starred with bat and Adam Gray with the ball in a good team display.
Royton, who are unbeaten leaders of the CLL under-11s, were selected to represent the CLL in the Lancashire Cricket Board knockout.
In the winter, Royton won Oldham Cricket Development’s indoor six-a-side competition and five of their players are in the Oldham town team.
