SADDLEWORTH defeated nearest rivals Moorside to clinch their place in the final of the Saddleworth and District Cricket League under-13s cup.
Moorside were hoping for revenge after earlier suffering their only league defeat against Saddleworth.
However, with A Temple taking three wickets for five runs, they were restricted to 76 for seven and Saddleworth lost only one wicket in booking their final place, Ben Corbett unbeaten on 27 and F Scott making 31.
Joe Smith-Butler (32 not out) and Joe Mitchell (five for 12) were the heroes for Bamford as they narrowly defeated Heyside in the other semi-final.
