OLDHAM Schools under-11s were looking to end a run of two straight defeats at Wigan today.
The town team, who were involved in a challenge match, have experienced mixed fortunes so far this season.
They made a blistering start to their Lancashire Merit League campaign, beating both Rochdale (112 runs) and Wigan (one run), but then lost home and away fixtures to Tameside.
