Santos count down to exciting new venture

BEST FOOT FORWARD: Youngsters are put through their paces by coaches from AFC Santos.
AFC SANTOS are gearing up for their first soccer school on August 5, at Hopwood Hall.
It is for five to seven year olds and will take place every Wednesday (5pm to 6pm) at a cost of £2 per session.
Santos were awarded a grant of £3,814 by the Football Foundation to boost youth development.

Meanwhile, the Santos open day on Clayton playing fields proved a great success.
Athletic mascot Chaddy Owl took part in a penalty shoot-out competition, coaching sessions were held and a circus workshop kept everyone entertained.
Chance to hone skills
SOUTH Manchester Mini-Soccer are holding a week-long soccer course for five to 12-year-olds at Dukinfield Youth JFC.
It takes place from Monday, August 10 to Friday, August 14 (9.30am to 3.30pm).
Coaches from Blackburn Rovers, Bolton Wanderers and Oldham Athletic will be in attendance.
The cost of the week is £50 or £12 per day. Discounts are available for siblings.
