Home tie boost for town team

OLDHAM under-15s have received a plum home draw against Pendle in the semi-finals of the Lancashire Schools’ Ainsworth Trophy.
The local lads, who beat West Lancashire in their quarter-final tie, have scheduled their last-four clash for Wednesday, August 19, with the venue still to be confirmed. Rossendale meet Lancaster in the other semi.
Oldham’s squad is: Luke Du Feu, Matthew Kenderdine, Ross Zelem (Bluecoat), Tom Hindley (Mossley Hollins), Joe Lovell (Our Lady’s), Connor Hey (St. Bedes), Thomas Rowlands (Crompton House), Zain Tahir, Robert Shaw (Hulme Grammar), Nicholas Doyle (Audenshaw), Bradley Hadfield, Sam Rhodes (Saddleworth), Ryan Sloan (St. Matthew’s).
