ANYONE for tennis, football, rugby, cricket . . . ?
Children are enjoying a host of sports at Radclyffe School, Hunt Lane, over the summer holiday period.
Set up by Terry Jennings and Phil Haigh, with help from Chadderton Park Juniors FC, sports-mad youngsters are trying different activities as well as keeping fit.
“The feedback we’ve had so far has been excellent,” said Phil. “We are averaging about 25 children per day.
“Some who initially booked for a week or a few days have come back again which we are pleased about.
“It’s the first time we’ve done something like this and the idea now is to do it again during half-term.”
The sports’ school continues until the end of the six-week holiday period. The cost is £12 a day (9am to 3pm) or £50 for a week.
For more information, call Terry on 07786 514702 and Phil on 07947 356034.
The organisers say they are grateful to Martin Higgins and the caretakers of Radclyffe School for their support.
