CHADDY Hoppers Blue under-13s staged a great recovery against Radcliffe Borough in the North Bury Junior League.
Trailing 3-1 with 15 minutes to go, they were heading for defeat but, showing a never-say-die attitude, Hoppers fought back to win 5-3.
Daniel Randle (two), Elliott Moss (two) and James Kirby got the goals.
Under-13s Red, meanwhile, bowed out of the cup competition at the first hurdle when they were beaten 4-2 by Middleton Colts. Dan Javed and Josh O’Donnell scored for Hoppers.

Tameside and District Junior League
CHADDERTON Park Cobras under-11s tasted defeat for the first time this season when went down 5-4 to Gamesley Villa in the Tameside and District Junior League.
On the mark for Park were Clayton Thomas, Ciaran Collins, Matthew Cunningham and Connor Stansfield.
o HOLLINWOOD under-13s booked their place in the next round of the League Cup with a 4-3 win over Heyside Juniors.
Femi Ogunnuga and Taylor Melling bagged a brace apiece for ’Wood, who can boast a 100-per-cent record this season.
o CURTIS Norris hit a hat-trick for the third time this season as AFC Oldham under-13s overcame Brendon Bees 7-2 in the League Cup.
Billy Jo Hardman and Matthew Widdowson shared the other four goals.
o JAMES Larty (two), Ryan McConkie (two) and Michael Gill got the goals for Chadderton Juniors FC under-12s in a 5-1 victory over Heyside Juniors in the League Cup. Bradley Gordon replied.
o CHADDY End FC under-11s, with Owen Woodward (three), JJ Fraay (two), Jordan Hardman, Charlie Kennedy, Matthew Gibson and Harry Gledhill on the mark, brushed aside Moston Juniors 9-2 in the League Cup.
o HEYSIDE JFC under-11s registered a 5-2 win over Stalybridge Celtic — Liam Standring (two), Kade Howarth, Jack Wallace and Conor Henley got the goals — and the under-11s Junior side posted a 4-2 success over Tintwistle thanks to a Callum Hendrick hat-trick and a Corey Fox effort.
EFFORTS
Under-11s Junior Blues had George Riley, Alex Walkden and Rhys Finnegan on target, but their efforts were in vain as they went down 10-3 to Denton Youth.
o CHADDERTON Juniors FC under-16s, last season’s losing finalists, reached the last four of the League Cup with a 3-0 defeat of Oswald Road thanks to goals from Mike Taylor, Ryan Muff and Callum Lambert.
o THOMAS Jowle struck four times and Sam Bagshaw got the other as 3D Dynamos under-12s defeated Medlock Rangers 4-0.

Tameside Sunday League
SPRINGHEAD FC under-14s, despite having only 10 players available, maintained their 100-per-cent record with a 3-0 win over Moston Juniors in the Tameside Sunday League.
Kaimmen Morris opened the scoring from just inside the penalty area, before strike partner Jordan Mortimer got in on the act with the second and third goals either side of half time.
o LUKE Bean struck four times as R.O.C.S FC under-15s brushed aside Harpurhey Cobras 10-0.
Scott Reeves (two), Ryan McMylor (two), Connor Hey and Matthew Wyke weighed in with the other goals.
HEYSIDE Juniors under-14s were beaten 2-1 by FC United of Tameside.
FAILSWORTH Town under-13s succumbed 7-1 to Clayton Villa — C Thorpe scored the consolation goal — and the under-14s were beaten 2-1 by Whitworth Park Sports Club. D Marshall replied for Town.
And to complete a miserable afternoon for the club, the under-15s lost 5-0 to Curzon Ashton in the first round of the Challenge Cup.
A KIERAN Bailey treble, plus goals from Joe Burgoyne and David Brown, clinched a 5-0 win for Chaddy End FC under-15s against AFC Oldham 0.
And the under-13s, featuring a double hat-trick from Joe Fagan, cruised to a 19-0 triumph over Boundary Park Juniors.
Callum Buckley (two), Oliver Cleworth (two), Tom Maloney (two), James Moore, Lewis Henderson and Ryan Mason were also on the mark.
BOUNDARY Park Juniors under-11s had Callum Whitworth (two), Dale Patterson, Nyle Harrop, Alex Trippier and Brandon Seale on the scoresheet in a 6-2 defeat of Moston Valley.
The under-19s tasted a 3-2 victory over Medlock Rangers thanks to goals from Adam Sutcliffe (two) and Jermaine Steele.
HEYSIDE Juniors under-14s, with Corey Eastmund, Martin Kenney (two), George Tilley, Connor Oxendale and Matthew Whitehead getting the goals, were comfortable 6-1 winners over Manchester Youth.
Rochdale and Oldham Youth League
JOSH O’Donnell scored all four goals as Chadderton Park under-13s recorded their first away win of the season, 4-1 at Heywood Rangers in the Rochdale and Oldham Youth League.
CROMPTON Villa under-13s, with Josh Dale and Lewis Wood on target, were fortunate to draw 2-2 with Springhead FC.
HOLLINWOOD under-13s, with Femi Ogunnuga (two), Luke Molloy and Callum Taylor doing the damage, registered a 4-2 victory over Chadderton Juniors.
Taylor’s effort, with two minutes to go, was the pick of ’Wood’s four, while James Tulley and an own goal made up Chadderton’s reply.
MATTY Singleton (three), Jordan Holt (two), Scott Brocklebank (two), Sam Bowles and Callum Maznyczenko were on the mark for Chaddy End FC under-15s in a comprehensive 9-1 defeat of Chadderton Juniors FC.
MATTHEW Toop scored the consolation goal for Heyside Juniors under-15s, who were beaten 7-1 by Heywood Rangers.
ast Manchester Junior League
AVRO Juniors under-14s sprinted into the second round of the East Manchester Junior League’s Primary Cup competition.
They swept aside Reddish Boys 19-1, with Jack Bostock helping himself to six goals and Jake Jackson going nap.
Also on the scoresheet were Dan Lindley (three), Ryan Richards (two), Jack Rafferty, Tom Speat and Kane Wallwork.
CHADDERTON Juniors FC under-12 were beaten 6-2 by Mossley in the League Cup. Ashley Hartley scored the consolation goals.
The under-11s booked their berth in round two of the Primary Cup with a 5-0 win over Mossley Juniors.
Owain Jones, Lewis Young (two), Jack Noble and Ryan Hamer Flitcroft got the goals.
