Bennett stars in fightback show

R.O.C.S FC under-13s recovered from a two-goal deficit to defeat Unicorn 4-2 in the North Manchester Girls League.
On target were Abby Bennett, who continued her goal-scoring spree by bagging a hat-trick, and Keeley Taylor.
Lauren Taylor and Rhema Mears struck four apiece as R.O.C.S under-15s swept aside Uppermill 11-0. Danielle Pickett (two) and Fern Madeley made up the tally.
The under-16s came from behind to beat Heyside Clarets 4-2. Emma Watson (two), Bethany Ormrod and Megan Jackson got the goals.
ELLA Rigby and Molly Taylor hit hat-tricks as Heyside Angels Whites under-11s swept aside Uppermill 11-1. Katy Halligan (two), Emily Kay (two) and Lavinia Whitehead were also on target.
Angels Inter under-12s had Ellie Doggitt (two), Jade Hughes (two) and Caitlin Senior on the scoresheet in a 5-2 defeat of Oldham Athletic, but Angels under-13s were beaten 4-0 by Denton Girls.
Kayleigh Larkins weighed in with six goals and Leoni Harland went nap as Angels Blues under-14s registered a 12-2 victory over Chadderton Park. Phoebe Dunne completed the tally.
TWO goals from Caprice MacSharry were in vain as Oldham Athletic Girls under-13s were beaten 7-2 by Curzon Ashton.
The under-14s succumbed 7-0 to Heyside Clarets — Beth Mellor (three), Kelly Ward (two) and Shannon Ryan (two) did the damage — and the under-16s went down 4-3 to Heyside Angels. Ashlie Ball (two) and Yasmin Deane scored for Athletic, with Lucy Shaylor, Emma Harte, Lily Prince and Blossom Halkyard getting the Heyside goals.
FAILSWORTH Dynamos under-12s suffered a 4-2 defeat at the hands of Middleton Girls. Mia Welsh got the consolation goals.
CHADDERTON Park under-13s were beaten 8-2 by Stockport.
