INDIVIDUAL awards were dished out at the Saddleworth and District Junior Cricket League presentation night held at Austerlands CC.
Batting honours went to Saddleworth’s Ellis Helire (under-13s), Dale Evans (under-15s), of Droylsden, and Stayley’s Michael Jones (under-17s).
The bowling prizes were handed to Moorside’s Jamie Taylor (under-13s), Drew Fullalove (under-15s), of Shaw ‘A’, and Austerlands’ Greg Scholes (under-17s).
Looking back over the season, Saddleworth under-13s completed the league and cup double.
Austerlands under-17s also had two reasons to celebrate. The Thorpe Lane outfit won their division and also clinched the Romida Trophy, beating Uppermill in the final.
Heyside were crowned the under-15s champions after a play-off victory over Saddleworth, while the Leicester Shield was won by Shaw.
Lancashire all-rounder and former Greenfield player Kyle Hogg presented the trophies.
