THEY’RE OFF at the start of the Counthill Schools Cluster Cross-Country competition.
HODGE CLOUGH showed a clean pair of heels to their rivals in the Counthill School cluster cross-country event for Year Six pupils.
Bradley Boswell won the boys’ race and Anne Jones was first across the tape first in the girls’ event.
The youngsters’ efforts, along with their team-mates, helped Hodge Clough clinch overall honours from runners-up Knowsley, with Watersheddings in third.
A total of six schools took part in the event at Counthill.
