Norris is a penalty hit

CURTIS NORRIS struck a second-half hat-trick from the penalty spot as AFC Oldham under-13s hit back to beat Brendon Bees 4-3 in the Tameside and District Junior League.
Trailing 3-1 at the interval — Jake Hoyle scored for Oldham — the local outfit never gave up and got all three points thanks to Norris’ spot-kick treble.

CHADDERTON Juniors FC under-16s are riding the crest of a wave.

The local outfit made it eight wins out of eight with a 4-0 defeat of Denton Youth.

On target for Chadderton were Mike Taylor (two), Nathan Mayall and Anthony Curran.

ALEX Walkden, Owen Shaughnessy, George Riley and Connah Evans scored for Heyside Junior Blues under-11s in a 4-3 defeat of Failsworth Dynamos.

Corey Pearson got all four goals for Juniors under-11s, who overcame Tintwistle Athletic 4-2.

And Pearson registered a treble in the 19-0 triumph over Dukinfield Tigers.

Ethan Ullah (four), Jamie Ashton (three), Callum Hendrick (two), Corey Fox (two), Tyler Griffiths (two), Jordan Robinson, Liam McConkie and Nyall Tushingham completed the tally.

The under-15s, with Bradley Legge (three), Ben Jackson and Callum Harris getting the goals, defeated Hollingworth 5-1, but they then went down 5-1 to Reddish North End. Elliot Green scored the consolation.

Heyside JFC under-15s edge out Moston Brook 5-4 — Joseph Fagan (three), Joseph Linehan and Liam Taylor were the marksmen — and followed up with a 4-3 win over Failsworth Rangers.

Callum Viner, Aiden Stevenson (two) and Ryan Baldwin struck this time.

3D DYNAMOS under-12s produced some free-flowing football as they brushed aside Failsworth Rangers 9-0.

Joe Connolly (three), Aaron Rogers (two), Tom Jowle (two), Richard Liy and George Kilgour got the goals.
