Blue Coat hit the road

BLUE Coat School are flying the flag for the borough in the ESFA Under-15s Schools’ Cup.
They are through to round three without playing a game after their opponents in the two previous stages withdrew from the competition.
Blue Coat have been drawn away to South Craven School (Harrogate and Craven), with the tie scheduled to take place on or before Saturday.
Other local teams have fallen by the wayside, with Hulme Grammar School becoming the first victims after suffering a 5-3 reverse against Calderstones School (Liverpool) in round one.
North Chadderton went down 1-0 to Harrogate Grammar School (Harrogate and Craven) in round two, and Crompton House were beaten 4-3 by South Dartmoor Community College (Torbay).
Saddleworth bowed out at the first-round stage, losing 2-1 to Wellacre Technology College (Trafford), while Radclyffe succumbed 2-0 against All Saints RC School (York) in round two.
