Hot-shot Harland hits rivals for six

LEONI HARLAND was the star of the show as Heyside Angels Blues under-14s proved too good for Heyside Angels Clarets in the North Manchester Girls League.
The young hot-shot smashed a double hat-trick in the 9-1 victory, with Kayleigh Larkin grabbing the other three. Beth Mellor replied for the Clarets.
Alicia Stretton, Ella Milovanovic (two) and Ashleigh Wylie were on target for Clarets under-12s, who overcame Oldham Athletic 4-0.
Lavinia Whitehead weighed in with a treble as Angels Whites under-11s defeated Middleton Girls 7-0 in the Knockout Cup. Ella Rigby and Molly Taylor shared the other goals.
But under-11s Angels Blues were beaten 1-0 by Delamere Rangers.
GOALS from Alys Wild and Abby Bennett were in vain as ROCS under-13s were beaten 4-2 bt Heyside Angels in the Knockout Cup. Natalie Giblin (two), Kinsa Hmami and Zoe Kelly scored for Heyside.
But the under-15s have surged clear at the top of the table after a 5-1 defeat of Moston Juniors.
Lauren Steel weighed in with a hat-trick, while Rhema Mears and Danielle Pickett got one apiece.
UPPERMILL under-14s raced into a two-goal lead against Denton, but they had to work hard for their 5-3 win in the end.
Their opponents hit back to restore parity at the break, but ’Mill regrouped to add three more goals to their tally in the second half.
Megan Ashton weighed in with a hat-trick, while Ellen Bergin and Chantelle Davies got one each.
CHADDERTON Park Girls under-13s overcame Droylsden Juniors 5-4 in the Knockout Cup, but the under-14s were beaten 5-1 by Rochdale.
