Ace Kayleigh bags four, but Blues crash

FOOTBALL: KAYLEIGH Larkin’s four-goal salvo was in vain as Heyside Angels Blues under-14s were beaten 6-4 by Uppermill in the North Manchester Girls League.

And Beth Mellor’s double was to no avail in a 3-2 defeat by Harpurhey United.

Angels under-13s are through to the semi-finals after a 1-0 victory over Unicorn Athletic — Kinsa Hmami got all-important goal — and Angels Clarets under-12s clinched a place in the last four after a 4-1 defeat of Denton Girls. Alicia Stretton and Ella Milovanovic scored two apiece.

Tanisha Williams weighed in with four goals for Inter under-12s, swept into the semi-finals with a 7-1 win over Failsworth Dynamos.

Ellie Doggett and Caitlin Senior (two) got the other goals.

And Ella Rigby (three), Molly Taylor (two), Lavinia Whitehead and Amy Taylor were on target for Angels Whites under-11s in a 7-0 defeat of Oldham Athletic.


ROCS FC under-13s, despite goals from Abby Bennett (two), Keeley Taylor and Ashleigh Spragg, were beaten 5-4 by Droylsden.
