But Athletic clinched a share of the spoils with a great effort immediately from the restart.

LEFT-BACK Daniel Bright hit a hat-trick for Avro Juniors under-14s, who displayed bags of spirit to get the better of Fog Lane Dynamos in a thrilling County Cup tie.
Trailing 2-0 at the interval, the local outfit forced extra time thanks to Bright’s double, his second coming with only moments to spare.
The defender went on to complete a treble, only for Fog Lane to score with the last kick of extra time to set up a penalty shoot-out.
But ’keeper Dom Wharton saved twice as Avro progressed 4-3 in the spot-kick decider.
