A RALLYING call during the half-time interval paid dividends as Chadderton Juniors FC under-13s came from behind to beat Chadderton Park 10-1 in the Rochdale and Oldham Youth League.
Park went ahead inside five minutes and gave their local rivals no time to settle in the opening period.
But it was all change after the break when a few choice words, plus a couple of substitutions, lifted Juniors from their slumbers.
Liam Eadsforth led the way with four goals, one of which was an overhead kick, Dan Javed scored twice, while Shaun Middleton, Matthew Goulding,
Harrison Grant and an own goal completed the emphatic comeback.
TWO goals in each half sealed a 4-0 win for Springhead under-13s over Rochdale St Clements.
Tom Travis laid the ball off for Jack Lent to finish for the opener, and a similar move saw Travis double their tally.
Travis and Eric Adams were involved in the build up for number three, with Toby Ferguson applying the final touch.
And Ferguson got the fourth after receiving a pass from Calvin McDonald.
HARRY Southern scored the consolation goal for Crompton Villa under-13s, who lost 5-1 to Hollinwood.
HEYSIDE Juniors, leaders of the under-16s division, dropped crucial points in a 2-2 home draw with MBC Rangers.
Two down at the break after a poor first-half display, Heyside levelled through Tom Shaw and a fine Daniel Robertson header.
They almost stole the points when Shaw’s strike flew into the net only to be ruled out as the referee blew for full-time before it crossed the line!
CALLUM Lundy went nap for Heyside Juniors under-15s in a 5-2 defeat of Springhead.

Callum Hendrick, who scored the consolation, was also on target against Failsworth Dynamos, but again it was in vain as his side were beaten 5-3. Corey Fox and Corey Pearson got the other Heyside goals.
However, the under-12s enjoyed a 4-3 victory over Hollingworth. Josh Park, Callum Harris, Bradley Adams and Jordan Slattery were the marksmen.

Kaimmen Morris was the inspiration — he scored four times — while Jordan Broadbent, after a one-two with Sebastian Sheldon, and Jordan Mortimer getting the other goals.
Springhead’s margin of victory would have been far much greater but for the performance of the Clayton ’keeper.
TWO goals apiece from Tom Maloney and Charlie Burton, plus a Lewis Henderson effort, clinched a 5-1 win for Chaddy End FC under-13s over Marauders Panthers.
David Brown (two), Coby Tyrell and Zak Porter struck for the under-15s, but they had to settle for a 4-4 draw against Curzon Ashton, and the under-16s overcame Fletcher Moss 2-0.
CAMERON Thorpe notched a hat-trick and Richard Salt also scored for Failsworth Town under-13s against Manchester Maccabi, but their efforts were in vain as they went down 11-4.
ROCS FC under-15s, thanks to double strikes from David Clegg and Ryan McMylor, enjoyed a comfortable 4-1 win over AFC Oldham.

Point is reward for show of spirit
UPPERMILL under-12s produced their best performance so far this season as they came from behind to draw 2-2 at table-toppers Pudsey in the Huddersfield and District Junior League.

3D DYNAMOS under-12s were too strong for Kirkheaton, with Ellis Forshaw (two), Charlie Maslen (two), Joe Connolly (two), Dominic Kerrison and James Hay getting the goals in an 8-0 triumph.
Forshaw’s second was a super header from Maslen’s excellent cross.
The under-13s, from division two, went out of the League Cup — they lost 4-3 — after a terrific fight against first-division Hartshead.
Two goals adrift at the break, 3D hit back to draw level thanks to Lewis Newton and Sam Wilson
