FOOTBALL:
OLDHAM under-15s are gearing for a return to Greater Manchester Schools’ League action on Saturday.
The town team, who have only played one league game so far this season, take on table-toppers Stockport at a venue to be arranged (kick-off 10.30am).
Oldham have been at the mercy of the rain and snow for much of this term, and have been kicking their heels since a narrow 5-4 extra-time defeat against Harrogate in the ESFA Inter Association Trophy on November 28.
The under-14s, who have endured mixed fortunes this season, also face Stockport in a Greater Manchester Schools’ League match. Venue to be decided (kick-off 10.30am).
