INDOOR ATHLETICS: Year Eight pupils who took part in the Sports Hall Athletics competition at Radclyffe School.
KASKENMOOR ran, jumped and bounced their way to the overall Oldham Sports Hall Athletics title at Radclyffe School.
In the Year Eight competition, they showed their rivals a clean pair of heels to win the boys section from Crompton House.
And the girls did the school proud by finishing runners-up behind Our Lady’s in the girls division.
Kaskenmoor will now represent Oldham in the Greater Manchester final at Wright Robinson High School on Tuesday, February 9.
Sports hall athletics features races over two, four, six and eight laps, as well as two and eight-lap relays.
Other events are standing triple jump, standing long jump, speed bounce and shot putt.
The competition was organised by Steve Tyrrell, from the Integrated Youth Service.
Overall result —
1, Kaskenmoor 31 points; 2, Our Lady’s 45pts; 3, Hathershaw 48pts; 4, South Chadderton 53pts.
