ANDREW Tarpey emerged victorious in a Year 11 Oldham schools table tennis tournament.
The Hulme Grammar pupil beat Jacob Riley, of Crompton House, in the final of the competition held at Radclyffe school.
Another Hulme boy, Tom Farrell, and Radclyffe’s Danny Elsom were beaten in the last four.
Tarpey’s success completed a double for the school as Benedict Walker won the Year Eight title.
