Youth football round up

FOOTBALL: FAILSWORTH Town under-14s lifted Tameside Sunday League Cup after beating Whitworth Park 3-0.

Kevin Cook, Curtis Ingham and Luke Heavens were on target.

The under-15s beat AFC Oldham 2-0 thanks to Tony Dermody and Dale Vernon strikes. The under-13s drew 8-8 with Abraham Moss Warriors.

Cameron Thorpe notched six, while Antony Farrell and Jordan Pilkington got the other goals.


CHADDY End under-16s lost 2-1 to Moston Brook. Anthony Curran got the consolation.

They lost 3-2 to Moston in the League Cup. Josh Horrit and Tom Proctor got the goals.

The under-15s drew 3-3 with Medlock Rangers, Zak Porter got two and David Brown scored.


ROCS FC under-15s drew 2-2 with AFC Stanley, Liam Kelly and Ryan McMylor finding the net.

CHADDERTON Park under-11s Cobras beat Hattersley 6-4.

East Manchester Junior League

Chadderton FC Juniors under-12s drew 1-1 with AFC Stanley in the East Manchester Junior League, Darius Worsley scoring. They beat Avros 3-1 thanks to a Michael Gill brace and another Worsley strike.

Chadderton lost 3-2 to Mossley. Ryan McConkie scoring twice.


Bowlee Mini-Soccer League

UNDER-10S: Heyside JFC 3 (Adam Dunkerley, Kieran May, Marcel Chauhan), Northside 1.

Other results- Midway under-eights 0, Boundary Park Juniors 0.

3D Dynamos under-16s lost 5-1 to Rastrick in the Huddersfield and District Junior Football League. The consolation was scored by Chris Whitworth.

The under-13s were beaten 2-1 by Battyeford, Sam Wilson scored the consolation.

Tom Ireson, Charlie Maslen and Sam Bagshaw scored for the under-12s but they still lost 4-3 to Wakefield.
