FOOTBALL: SUPER Saddleworth School sealed some silverware at the Oldham Schools Knockout Cup finals.
They held their nerve against North Chadderton in a tight Year 11s final to win 2-1 and lift the coveted trophy.
The Year 10s battled it out in another exciting final, with Failsworth emerging victorious courtesy of a 3-2 win.
Steve Tyrrell, of Oldham Council’s integrated youth service, which helped organise the event, said it was a success.
He added: “There was a good turnout for the competition and the weather was kind to us.
“We witnessed a lot of good football and we’re pleased with how it panned out.”
