CRICKET:
UPPERMILL Cricket Club received a grant of £4,300 from Sport England — and they have already put the money to good use.
The Saddleworth and District Cricket League outfit bought a roller, junior kit and sent two senior players – Michael Brooks and Ian Johnson – on a level two coaching course.
