HEYSIDE Juniors under-10s coach Kevin Dunkerley has praised his side after they completed a remarkable double treble.
They first lifted the Manchester Youth and Mini-Soccer League and Bowlee League titles.
As if that wasn’t enough, the talented youngsters won tournaments at Mossley, Curzon Ashton, Stalybridge Celtic and Signol Athletic, taking the silverware tally to six.
Dunkerley said: “It was a phenomenal season. It’s still sinking in.
“Success on this scale doesn’t just happen, it has to be worked for, and they knuckled down from the word ‘go’.
“They thoroughly deserve all the rewards and recognition they have earned over the course of the campaign.”
