Bowl over the coaches

Cricket:

AUSTERLANDS Cricket Club hosts a summer camp next week.

Youngsters aged between five and 15 have the chance to bowl over head coach Nigel Brown with their skills, from August 2 to 6, 10am to 3pm.

Other qualified coaches will also supervise the sessions.

For the full five days the cost is £60, or you can pay £15 per day. Lunches are included.

Places are limited to 40.

Under-13s wait

OLDHAM under-13s are still unsure whom they will face in the Lancashire Schools’ Hacking Cup semi-final after torrential rain ruled out action between Bolton and Lancaster.

The semi-final is scheduled for Wednesday, August 18. Under-13s manager Chris Highton has confirmed the semi-final will be Royton Cricket Club (11am).
