CRICKET: MILNROW are champions of the Saddleworth and District League under-17s division.
Opponents Heyside were dismissed for 44 before Milnrow earned an eight-wicket victory.
Austerlands finished on 98 for four against Shaw, who reached their target for the loss of two wickets.
There were also wins for Friarmere and Glodwick.
SADDLEWORTH ‘A’ clinched the under-13s title.
They scored 103, with opponents Moorside ending on 92 for four.
Peak Trophy showdown
Saddleworth League under-13s visit Hawk Green on Thursday, August 26 to play the Derby & Cheshire League in the Peak Trophy.
In the build up to the game, they face Lancashire County League on Sunday at Austerlands (1.30 pm).
Added to the squad are James Howard (Saddleworth) Aaron Tesz (Royton) and Alex Willis (Bamford Fieldhouse) added to the squad. Cry-offs call Paul Beal on 07976 351655.
GREENFIELD under-17s are one game away from clinching the Lancashire County League South Division.
They lead Denton West by one point.
Greenfield were set to host Dukinfield today in the final match of the season.
