Gill leads the goal charge

FOOTBALL: CHADDERTON FC Juniors beat Manchester Macabbi 9-0 in the Tameside Sunday League Challenge Cup.

Michael Gill scored four, James Larty and Danny Miller both hit two, and Ashley Hartley got the other.

They also defeated Avro

3-2 through a Larty brace and a Jack Hoyle goal.



AVRO under-15s defeated FC United of Tameside 6-3 courtesy of two goals from Dan Lindley and further efforts from Ryan Richards, Nathan Brooks, Joe Ashworth and Kane Wallwork.

ZAK Porter and Callum Mazynczenko found the net for Chaddy End under-16s, but they were defeated 3-2 by Glossop North End.

CHADDERTON Park under-12s Cobras saw off Hattersley 6-3 thanks to a James Collins treble, a Matt Cunningham brace and a James Ashton strike.

Chadderton FC Juniors under-13s youth side beat Stalybridge Celtic 2-1. Liam Hindley and Ashley Hartley scored.

CROMPTON Villa under-14s lost 5-2 at Bolton. Jack Johnson got the consolation goals.



HEYSIDE Juniors under-15s beat Fog Lane 5-1 through Martin Kenny and Kareem James doubles, and a Danny Lewis goal.

The under-12s beat AFC Oldham 7-3, with Ethan Ullah and Corey Fox getting two each and Corey Pearson, Owain Jones and Callum Hendrick netting.

They also drew 3-3 with Prestwich Marauder Rays. Pearson, Hendrick and Jordan Robinson scored for Heyside.



MATT Pazos scored three for Uppermill Juniors under-11s and Finn Gallagher got one, but they lost 6-4 to Dukinfield Tigers in the Tameside and District Junior League.

OWEN Shaughnessy and Alex Hunt scored for Heyside Junior Blues under-12s, but they were beaten 8-2 by Haughton Rangers.



SAM Fisher and Will Kay scored for 3D Dynamos in a 5-2 defeat against Chadderton FC Juniors.


LIAM Hindley and Ashley Hartley netted for Chadderton FC Juniors under-13s in their 2-1 win over Stalybridge Celtic.
