Heyside’s Holt is a hat-trick hero

FOOTBALL: JORDAN Holt hit a hat-trick for Heyside Juniors under-16s in a 5-3 triumph over Boundary Park in the Rochdale and Oldham Youth League. Kyle Townsend got the other goals for Heyside.
Holt also bagged a brace for his side in a 2-2 draw with Moston Brook.
MICHAEL Beresford scored twice as Chaddy End under-16s won 4-2 at Chadderton.
Danny Cooper and Scott McBride also scored.
BROADWAY Celtic under-12s roared to an 8-1 victory over Radcliffe Borough ‘A’ in the North Bury League.
Matthew McCormack scored a hat-trick, Shea Roach and Ben Jackson both bagged a brace each, while Adrian Ashcroft completed the scoring.
CHADDERTON Park under-14s were beaten 4-2 at Bridge FC, with Matty Nicholls and John Parker getting their names on the scoresheet for Park.
OLDHAM Rangers under-15s Greens enjoyed an impressive 6-2 victory over Prestwich Hey Reds.
Matthew Gibson scored twice, with further goals coming from Liam Howe, Jack Holmes, Curtis Boothroyd and Joe McNamara.
JOSH Lindsay was on target for 3D Dynamos under-14s, but they were held to a 1-1 draw by Seedfield Stanians following an equalising goal four minutes from time.
Bowlee League
HEYSIDE Juniors under-11s saw off Boundary Park 7-0 in the Manchester Youth and Mini Soccer League.
Jack Dunkerley and Kai Whitney got two apiece, and were joined on the scoresheet by Sulaiman Sajjad, Adam Simpson and Kieran May in a thrilling contest.
Heyside Junior Blues under-10s beat Heyside Juniors 7-0 thanks to a Mason Shoel hat-trick, two from Luke Harris, and strikes from Elliot Ullah and Ethan Harris.
NICOLE Scott was on target for Oldham Athletic under-16s in their 8-1 defeat to Moston Juniors in the North Manchester Girls’ Football League.
Oldham’s under-12s lost 3-1 at home to Delamere Rangers, Lauryn Oldham finding the net.
ROCS under-16s earned a 6-1 win at Heyside Clarets. Lauren Steel, Rhema Mears and Courtney Hunter got two goals each.
ROCS under-14s travelled to Heyside Angels and won 4-3, with Samantha Bickerstaffe finding the net twice.
Alix Sephton scored twice for Heyside. Hayley Tomlinson was also on target.
Heyside Angels Blues under-11s beat Denton Tigers 5-1.
Emily Kay scored twice, with Beth Boothroyd, Katie Halligan and Ashlin Miller adding goals.
Heyside Angels Blues under-15s defeated Denton Girls 4-1.
Leoni Harland, Lauren Patterson, and a Danielle Partington brace secured the win.
ROCS under-18s came from behind to see off Altrincham Girls 5-3 in the Cheshire and Manchester Women’s League.
Lauren Steel got two and goals from Rhema Mears, Angela Fox and Rebecca Crawford sealed it.
Heyside Angels lost 4-0 at home to Denton Ladies.
SAM Bagshaw scored three times in 3D Dynamos under-13s’ 6-2 victory over Hepworth United in the Huddersfield and District Junior League.
Jack Churchill got two and Rylan Dickenson also netted.
UPPERMILL under-17s roared to an 8-1 win at Scholes. James Jowle scored four, with further goals from Dan Mills, Matthew McGroarty, Rob Shaw and Will Linney.
Nick Tavarozzi and Callum Faulkner scored two each for Uppermill under-12s in a 6-3
victory at Honley. Kurt Bennett and James Howard were the other marksmen.
OLDHAM under-14s got their Greater Manchester Schools’ League season off to a winning start by beating Bury 2-1.
Ben Hulme and Jack Holmes got the goals.HEYSIDE FC Juniors are on the look out for new players.
Fresh faces are required for the under-16s and under-13s on Saturdays and the under-nines and under-sevens, in the East Manchester Junior League.
There are also places for girls in school Year Two, Three or Four wanting to join a new Angels team, and Year Five or Six girls for an established Angels side.
