Jordan’s four-goal heroics to no avail

FOOTBALL: Jordan Hardman struck four times for Chaddy End under-12s in the Tameside Sunday League Cup — but his brilliant individual effort was in vain.
Hardman got the goals in a 4-4 draw with Saint Andrews, only for his side to go out on penalties.
Sam Robinson was on target for under-19s as his side lost 4-1 at the hands of Bury Amateurs, also in the League Cup.
But Chaddy End under-14s beat Dukinfield Tigers 5-0. Oliver Cleworth scored four and Ryan Mason got one.
BOUNDARY Park Juniors under-11s stormed to a 20-0 victory over Medlock Rangers.
Harry Thorpe led the way with four goals.
There were hat-tricks from Donovan Bugler, Ryan Trelfa and Cameron Kovac, while Christian Walker and Kane Steele got two apiece.
Bethany Boothroyd, Jacob Cooper and Lewis Derbyshire also got on the scoresheet.
Adam Murphy notched a consolation for the under-17s in their 3-1 defeat to Ladybridge Rangers.
The under-14s exited the Challenge Cup after a 5-3 defeat to Moston Valley. Daniel Norris, Ryan Knott and Matthew Leonard scored.
ASHLEY Hartley pounced twice as Chadderton FC Juniors defeated Middleton Colts 4-3.
Liam Hindley and Jack Hoyle were also on target.
ROCS under-16s edged out Mable Athletic 4-3 thanks to a Luke Bean brace and further strikes from Scott Reeves and Daniel Cooper.
CHADDY End under-16s produced a stunning 14-0 win at the expense of Coppice United.
Michael Beresford scored five goals, Matthew Singleton and Elliot Birtwistle hit hat-tricks, while Callum Mazynczenko, Jack Griffin and Danny Cooper also got their names on the scoresheet.
Chadderton Park under-13s roared to a 10-0 victory over Littleborough.
Joe Laycock, Oli Radcliffe and Luke Gloster got two goals each, while Luke Jones, Tristan Jones, Jack Garside and Jordy Hancock completed the rout.
FEIRUZ Abdullah found the net for Oldham Athletic Girls under-15s, but they lost 4-1 to Uppermill.
The under-12s lost 12-0 to their Uppermill counterparts, with Rebecca Turner putting in the best performance for the losing side.
ROCS under-16s beat hosts Uppermill 5-0 courtesy of goals from Shona Ninian, Rhema Mears, Megan Jackson, Courtney Hunter and Georgia Flynn.
The under-14s defeated Uppermill 2-0, with Samantha Bickerstaffe and Abby Bennett on target.
OLDHAM under-15s beat Trafford 4-1 in the Greater Manchester Schools’ League, with goals fro Ben Turner, Regan Walker, Liam McNally and Daniel Lindley.
The under-14s lost 3-1 to Trafford. Ben Hulme (Failsworth) scored the consolation goal.
