Abigail doubles up

ABIGAIL Griffith saw off opponents up to seven years her senior as she won the Lancashire Trials under-18s title.

Competing at St Augustin’s sports centre in Preston, Abigail (11) also clinched the under-15s gong.

It was a step up for the Oldham Table Tennis Club star, who has been under-11 champion at the event for the last three seasons.

Louie Daley, Roshan Patel, Jonathon Sutherland and Matthew Austin also represented the club.
