FOOTBALL: CHADDERTON FC Youth continued their fine start to open age football with a 3-2 win over Medlock Rangers in Group ‘A’ of the Champions Cup, in the Manchester Saturday Morning League.
Striker Mike Taylor put Chadderton in front early on from close range, and made it a brace when midfielder James Vernon skipped past two Medlock defenders and fed him a low cross.
Sloppy defending after the interval allowed Medlock to draw level.
Liam Cashmore, who was making his Chadderton debut, smashed home from close range to seal the victory.
