Duo are talk of the Town after cup win

FOOTBALL: TOM Scullion and Jordan Mortimer both helped themselves to hat-tricks in Failsworth Town under-15s’ 7-0 win over Manchester Maccabi in the Tameside Sunday League Challenge Cup.
Curtis Ingham also scored.
But the under-14s lost 7-2 at Mossley Juniors, with Cameron Thorpe and Ben McGrath finding the net for Town.
CROMPTON Villa under-14s were beaten 4-2 at home to Stalybridge Celtic.
Hayden Clarke got both goals for Villa, while Chris May was their man of the match.
CHADDERTON FC Juniors under-13s lost 10-5 to Delamere Rangers in the Challenge Cup.
James Larty scored twice for Chadderton, while Ashley Hartley, Stephen Goulding and Jack Hoyle also found the net.
Chaddy End under-16s exited the Challenge Cup after a 9-0 defeat at the hands of Wythenshawe Town.
The under-14s lost 5-1 to Fletcher Moss.
Thomas Maloney grabbed the consolation goal.
But there was better news for the under-12s as they saw off Boundary Park 5-1 thanks to two JJ Fraay efforts, and further strikes from Robbie Wilkinson, Max Brand and Jordan Hardman.
AFC Oldham under-14s beat Heyside 4-1 in the League Cup.
Curtis Norris scored twice, and was joined on the scoresheet by Dylan Collinson and Maty Widdowson.
The under-13s went down to a 7-3 defeat to Moston Juniors. Lewis Healing got a hat-trick for AFC Oldham.
Elsewhere the under-11s were beaten 2-1 by Uppermill, despite taking the lead through Jerold Coughlan’s strike.
TRE Tayo-Farrell, Jack Altamis and Jack Wallace scored two goals each in Heyside Juniors under-12s’ 8-2 win over Bury Amateurs.
Joe Hughes and Conor Henley were the other marksmen for Heyside.
MILO Garratt-Simpson and Arron Orchad were on target for Chadderton Park under-11s in their 13-2 defeat at the hands of Roach Dynamos..
DREW Mulligan found the target for Chaddy End under-11s in their 1-1 draw with Midway in the Manchester Youth and Mini-Soccer League.
HEYSIDE Junior Blues under-11s got the better of Pro Sport Strikers with a 7-2 win.
Joshua Daubney-Buckley’s hat-trick and two goals apiece from Robert White and Jack Meylan did the damage.
JAMES Jowle was on target for Uppermill under-17s in a 1-1 draw with Bradford Park Avenue.
The result means Uppermill remain unbeaten this season.
The under-12s swept aside Battyford with a 9-0 triumph.
Mirry Liptrot helped himself to a hat-trick for Uppermill; Nathan Jones and Kirk Bennett added two goals each, while Joe Townsend and Jake Howarth were the other marksmen in the impressive victory.
East Manchester Junior League
ROCS under-18s edged out Hillgate Blues 6-4 in the Cheshire and Manchester Women’s League.
Lauren Steel scored a hat-trick, Rhema Mears bagged a brace, and Sarah Ryan also found the net.
