Cousins keep cup run alive

FOOTBALL: ROCS FC under-14s defeated Chadderton Park 2-1 in the North Manchester Girls’ League Cup quarter-final, after a nail-biting extra-time clash.

Cousins Leah and Samantha Bickerstaffe got the goals for ROCS.



HEYSIDE Angels Clarets exited the Knockout Cup, courtesy of a 1-0 defeat to Rochdale.

But the under-14s Angels beat Denton Girls 6-0, with Kinsa Hmami helping herself to a hat-trick.

Ella Milovanovic, Bryony Bolton and Hayley Tomlinson joined her on the scoresheet.
