Bethany bags a brace

FOOTBALL: BETHANY Marland pounced twice for Oldham Athletic under-16s in their 2-1 win over Moston Juniors in the North Manchester Girls’ League.
The under-15s were held to a 2-2 draw by Uppermill, with Chloe Austin and Feiruz Abdullahi on target for Oldham.
But the under-12s were beaten 2-0 by Heyside Blues courtesy of Antonia Keogh and Jessica Lane efforts.
CHADDERTON Park under-11s ground out a 1-1 draw with Failsworth Villa. Lorna Jo-Holt got the goal for Park.
LEONI Harland and Alix Sephton scored four goals apiece in Heyside Angels Blues’ 11-0 triumph over Uppermill.
Ella Milovanovic netted twice, and Bryony Bolton added a solitary strike.
The under-13s beat Uppermill 2-1 thanks to goals from Alicia Stretton and Sian Brady.
BRACES from Ellie Doggett and Mia Holden inspired the under-13s Angels Inter to a 7-0 defeat of Failsworth Villa.
Tanisha Williams, Caitlin Senior and Tia Jackson did the rest of the damage.
The under-11s beat Denton Lions 9-3, with Beth Boothroyd and Robyn Hartley both bagging hat-tricks.
Katie Halligan scored twice, and Ashlin Miller also netted.
AVRO under-12s swept aside Gamesley Villa 5-2 in the Tameside and District Junior League.
Kobey Shaw scored twice for Avro and Nyal Platt added a solitary strike as Avro went into the interval with a 3-0 lead.
Gamesley pulled two goals back in a much closer second half, but Callum Arstis and Ellis Robinson netted for Avro to seal the victory.
AN Ethan Ullah hat-trick put Heyside Juniors under-12s on the way to a resounding 12-1 victory over Clayton Villa in the Tameside Sunday League in a one-sided affair.
Joe Henderson, Corey Pearson, Owain Jones and Callum Hendick all notched braces for Heyside as they stunned their opponents.
Alex Wiseman also got his name on the scoresheet.
