Town hit back to seal win

FOOTBALL: FAILSWORTH Town came from two goals down to beat Barr Hill Aces 3-2, thanks to goals from Cole De’ath, Kane Hughes and Curtis Ingham.
But the under-14s were beaten 11-0 by Mossley in the League Cup first round.
THE match between ROCS under-16s and Moorside in the Tameside Sunday League was abandoned following a brawl. The matter is being dealt with by the FA.
JOE Burgoyne netted for Chaddy End under-16s, but his side lost 4-1 to Denton Youth.
The under-12s drew 2-2 with Northside courtesy of JJ Fraay and Charlie Kennedy efforts.
CROMPTON Villa under-14s exited the League Cup after a 6-2 defeat to Moston Juniors.
Ryan Hall and Josh Dale found the target for Villa.
AVRO under-12s enjoyed a 6-0 win at Boundary Park. On target for Avro were Kobe Shaw, James Sloane, Nyal Platt, Cameron McDonald and Tom Simpson. Park also scored an own goal.
CHADDERTON Park under-13s bowed out of the County Cup at the quarter-final stage after losing 3-2 to Hough End Boys.
On the mark for Chadderton Park were Jordan Hancox and Luke Jones. Manager Terry Jennings said: “It was a brilliant game and we were unlucky. In the end we were undone by a few long balls.”
