VOLLEYBALL:
LYNDHURST Primary School ran out winners at the Hatehrshaw College of Technology and Sport cluster volleyball competition.
The event was held in honour of Becky Jagger, an Integrated Youth Community volleyball coach.
Beckey works with local school teams in order to generate more interest in the sport and improve existing youth sides.
An impressive victory in the cluster cross-country championships had made St Martin’s one of the
front-runners, but they finished off the pace this time.
Diploma students from Hathershaw College officiated all of the the matches and watched on as Lyndhurst took top spot courtesy of victory in the final against Coppice.
Holy Rosary, Greenhill, Coppice ‘B’ and Lyndhurst ‘B’ made up the field.
