Chadderton glee at silverware haul

FOOTBALL: DELIGHTED Chadderton Juniors under-12s are celebrating silverware success on four fronts.
The Reds side won the Tameside and District League Cup courtesy of a 6-0 win against Haughton Rangers, before clinching the league title thanks to a 3-1 triumph over South Manchester.
And the Blacks team, who had already secured the East Manchester League title, won their League Cup final 2-1 against Manchester Corinthians at Hyde FC.
After falling behind, Steve Ombougno equalised before Neil Coleridge poked home a late winner.
Coach Stephen Clegg said: “We are all delighted.”
CHADDERTON Park under-13s Lions clinched the North Bury League title courtesy of a 4-0 win at the expense of Unsworth. The under-11s Eagles saw off North Walkden 4-2 through goals from Matty Crowe, Alex Knight, Joe Wilson and Milo Garratt-Simpson.
SPRINGHEAD under-11s need just one point to become champions after a 6-3 defeat of Woodbank.
Josh Allen scored a hat-trick, Liam Leach struck twice and Will Dickinson also pounced.
ROCS under-14s are through to the North Manchester Girls’ League Cup semi-finals after a 3-1 win against Chadderton Park.
On the mark were Abby Bennett with two, and Leah Bickerstaffe. KATIE Bolton netted as Chadderton Park under-11s drew 1-1 with Moston Brook.
