RUGBY: SADDLEWORTH Rangers under-11s won 32-14 at Clockface in a 13-a-side clash.
The home team crossed early on, only for Nathan Roebuck to respond almost instantly with a solo effort, and he soon added a second, which Matt Fletcher converted.
And after two near misses, Josh Molloy crashed over the line, before Matt Tetlow followed suit and Finn Gallagher added the extras.
Clockface pulled back a try just before the interval.
After a slow start to the second period, Nathan Burgess added to Rangers’ try count, with Will Wright goaling.
Clockface grabbed a converted touchdown of their own.
But Kristian Hilton crossed for Rangers and added the extras in the dying minutes.
MASON Edmondson crossed twice as Waterhead under-11s defeated Thatto Heath 22-10.
Jack Bradbury and Josh Whitehill also scored tries. Conversions came courtesy of Dane Taylor, Reece Shaw and Whitehill.
