Top marks for stars of summer
Date published: 03 August 2011
FOOTBALL: ORGANISER Kevin Dunkerley has heaped praise on youngsters for producing dazzling displays in Oldham’s Junior Soccer League.
The summer league action has now drawn to a close, with Woodbank winning the under-nines division and Beechfield United clinching under-eights glory.
Dunkerley said: “Everyone associated with the clubs made the summer league such an enjoyable and
beneficial event — well done to all the teams.
“Just as pleasing from the league’s point of view is the conduct of parents, managers, players and supporters.”
