Tough test beckons

FOOTBALL: NORTH Chadderton have been handed a tough trip to St Thomas More RC College in the first round of the ESFA under-15s Schools Cup.
Hulme Grammar go to Wilmslow High, Crompton House travel to Wellacre Technology Academy.
Radclyffe hit the road to Accrington Academy, while Blessed John Henry Newman RC College (Our Lady’s and St Augustine’s) join forces for the away clash with Loreto High.
Failsworth Sports College entertain Newall Green High.
Ties take place on or before Saturday, September 24, with second-round matches on Saturday, October 8.
Clayton’s final glee
AFC Clayton clinched a 4-1 victory over AFC Oldham ‘A’ in the Junior Soccer League Cup final.
Under-nines took part in the league’s end-of-season two-legged play-off competition.
