Chaddy End plea for new blood

FOOTBALL: CHADDY End need new players for their under-eight and under-nine teams, both of whom play in the Manchester Youth and Mini-Soccer League on a Saturday morning.
The sides train every Friday night on Clayton playing fields. The club have started a soccer school, which takes place on a Sunday from noon until 1.30pm on Merton playing fields.
Sessions are aimed at four to 10-year-olds and admission costs £5.
Chaddy’s John Clegg is also providing cricket, rugby and football activities at Merton playing fields every weekday until Friday, September 2 from 10am to 3pm.
It costs £5 per day or £20 for a five-day week. For more information, call John on 07879 621067.
New venue for sessions
GET set for a change of venue for Chadderton FC Juniors’ soccer school.
Sessions are moving from Radclyffe School to Bare Tree Primary, Holly Grove, Chadderton, from September 4.
The soccer school is for boys and girls, aged four years upwards and it takes place every Sunday apart from this weekend.
