FOOTBALL:
CHADDERTON under-14s beat 3D Dynamos 5-2 in the Tameside and District Junior League Challenge Cup. Luke Jones struck twice and was joined on the scoresheet by Simon Winkley, Liam Hindley and James Larty.
They also saw off Reddish North End 7-3 in the league thanks to a Larty hat-trick, two goals from Luke Jones, and strikes from Hindley and Michael Gill.
CHRIS Leonard and Liam Allen were on target in Broadway Celtic under-14s’ 5-2 defeat to Seedfield Sports in the North Bury League.
3D DYNAMOS under-15s pipped Higher Blackley 3-2 thanks to strikes from Lewis Wood, Joe Shaw and Josh Lindsay.
CROMPTON Villa under-15s edged out Hollinwood 4-3 in the Tameside Sunday League.
Ben Walker, Josh Dale, Ryan Hall and Jack Johnson did the damage.
JAMES Larty scored Chadderton under-14s’ consolation goal in a 6-1 defeat to Reddish Vulcans.
ROCS under-16s defeated Heyside Blues 5-0 in the North Manchester Girls’ League thanks in no small part to Aimee Cook’s four goals. Abby Bennett completed the rout.
The under-15s beat Chadderton Park 3-1, with Georgia Anwas, Leah Bickerstaffe and Alys Wild doing the damage.
OLDHAM Athletic under-16s lost by the odd goal in nine to Uppermill. Jessica Bevan, Feiruz Abdullahi, Danielle Partington and Natalya Smythe netted for Athletic.
