Failsworth bag seniors crown

FAILSWORTH Sports College produced a string of impressive displays to clinch the Oldham Schools’ senior basketball tournament at the Oasis Academy Ball Hall.

Undefeated in all six of their group games, they went on to defeat Crompton House in the last four before overcoming Radclyffe in the final.

Failsworth will now represent Oldham in the Greater Manchester Championships at the Amaechi Centre, Whalley Range, later this month.
