Harland bags a brace

FOOTBALL:

LEONI Harland twice hit the target as Heyside Angels Blues under-16s saw off Denton 4-1 in the North Manchester Girls’ League.

Lauren Patterson and Amelia Garlick did the rest of the damage.

AMELIA Dickson pounced twice and Alicia Bocking also netted for Oldham Athletic under-13s but it was not enough to prevent a 4-3 defeat to Middleton Reds.

And the under-11s were beaten 1-0 by Moston Brook.



ROCS under-15s came from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Heyside Angels Clarets.

Alys Wild and Abby Bennett were on the mark for ROCS, with Leoni Harland and Ashleigh Dickenson scoring for Heyside.
